In Greensboro, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across North Carolina do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 5–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Very surprised at being asked to leave Salvino Cucina Italiana Restaurant due to β€œunacceptable” attire. Their web page says β€œWhite tablecloth, full service, upscale Italian restaurant. Casual dress in bar, dressier in dining rooms.” We arrived and were greeted by the hostess and seated in the dining room, as requested in the reservation. My wife wore dress pants, a dressy blouse and a sportscoat, with dress shoes. I wore dress pants, a dress shirt, $350 western dress footwear and a $300 Stetson western hat. I only mention the value of the footwear and hat as reference to its opposition to a baseball hat and deck shoes. After ordering. receiving our drinks and finishing our salads, we were approached by the hostess and informed that my attire was unacceptable for their fine restaurant. My Stetson was unacceptable? Seems they have a code that does not allow hats? Not even a $300 Stetson? I conceal carry, but that was OK. It was my Stetson that was objectionable. At the table across from us sat a family of five. Two men, in shorts, some sort of deck shoes with no socks, and t-shirts. The two women were also in very casual dress one wearing flip-flops, and a toddler. We didn’t pay atte

I took my sister to Salvino's tonight for an early birthday celebration. It was a first time for both of us. The food was excellent, the place was beautiful and our waiter, Hunter, was awesome. I had chicken parm and my sister had lasagna. We also had dessert. We were both very pleased, and we will definitely be back.

Hands down best calamari I have eaten! Crisp, light oil and the spicy marinara is chefs kiss! I had Tagliatelle Bolognese and it was delicious! Everything from the service to the food to the chef and owners checking in on us. We will be back!

Everything was awesome. Came with my family to eat dinner last night and we were all very impressed. The smell walking in, the hosts, the owners are probably always there it’s just a well run restaurant can’t say enough good things. Best part we had a woman (think owner) who gave us washable markers for drawing on the tablecloth. My little girl loved that it’s such a good idea. Thank you Hunter he was a great server! Good memories!!!

The food is delicious! I had the lobster ravioli. O my goodness, it was amazing! The crab dip is some of the best I've ever had! I always try crab dip everywhere I go! I forgot what my friend had but it was just as good! The staff and service are both great! It's really nice inside! I highly recommend it! I went for a birthday dinner and I really enjoyed myself! The server was so nice and attentive! The prices are reasonable. I will be back!
